Palma, June 21, 2023. The PGA Riviera Maya golf course, located in the Tulum Country Club residential complex, will be hosting the final stage of the PGA TOUR Latinoamérica season for the third consecutive year. As in previous editions of the BUPA Tour Championship, the top 5 players of the PGA Tour Latinoamérica will be decided after the last day of the tournament. These players will advance to the Korn Ferry Tour 2024, the second division circuit, which is the prelude to the PGA Tour.

This tournament, which will take place from June 29 to July 2, will bring together the best golf players who regularly compete on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica.

It will be held at PGA Riviera Maya, which has been recognized in recent years by the prestigious Golf Digest magazine as one of the best golf resorts in Mexico and Central America. The 18-hole course provides the ideal setting for such an important competition, meeting the mandatory standards for excellence in facilities as defined by the PGA of America.

Tory Gatrell, Director of Golf Operations at PGA Riviera Maya, stated that "for all of us at PGA Riviera Maya and Tulum Country Club, it is an honor to welcome all the players and organizers of the BUPA Tour Championship. We wish the best of luck to all participants vying for a place in this grand final.”

After signing its strategic alliance with PGA of America, Grupo Piñero's golf division continues to organize top-level national and international tournaments. Bahia Principe Golf and PGA of America are working together to contribute to the growth of golf by holding tournaments such as this one, as part of the PGA Tour Latinoamérica, always seeking the highest level of professionalism in their facilities to continue providing unique experiences to all golf professionals.
